Fenton Nelson Partners Celebrate 10 Years Together

Los Angeles —November 2, 2011— On November 2nd, from 5:30 - 8pm, friends of Fenton Nelson gathered in the firm's new office space for a party to celebrate the firm's expansion.  This month marks ten years since Fenton Nelson partners Henry Fenton and Harry Nelson began working together in November 2001.  In those ten years, the firm has grown to nearly 20 attorneys, and has received recognition as a leading California healthcare and administrative/regulatory firm.  Over the past decade, Fenton Nelson has added experienced healthcare attorneys from other firms (including partner Abbie Maliniak, Beth Kase, John Mills, and Carol Scott), as well as outstanding business lawyers from national law firms (including Tom Douvan, Nick Jurkowitz, Shara Lerman, and Jay Paik).  Last but not least, the firm has nurtured its own talented associates, including Dennis Lee, Ben Fenton, Aaron Lachant, Laura Podolsky, and Patricia Sanchez.  Fenton Nelson has also developed a tremendous network of other attorneys, trusted advisors, and experts to serve our client's needs.

In addition to its expanding personnel, Fenton Nelson also celebrated its physical expansion. From its original offices in the Westside Towers at 11835/11845 W. Olympic, the firm has grown to take over most of the ninth floor of the East Tower (11835).  The space, designed by architect Emily Jagoda features 'eco' materials (abundant plywood, exposing the raw beauty of natural and untreated materials) and reflects her exploration of ideas about modern space beyond style, including spaces that respond to how the firm and its clients truly use space, as well as the law firm's signature green.  Visitors regularly remark upon the extent to which the space signals values that make Fenton Nelson different from other law firms:  smart, transparent, and innovative.

In honor of attendees, Fenton Nelson is making a donation to theVenice Family Clinic, which provides free, quality healthcare to people in need.  "We are very grateful for the trust that our clients and friends have placed in us," said partner Henry Fenton. "Honoring that trust is what it's all about."  The event featured cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, sushi, and desserts (including cupcakes featuring the firm logo), as guests celebrated overlooking West L.A.
