Independent Practice Associations (IPAs)

Fenton Nelson advises numerous medical groups and independent physicians associations (IPA's) that act as contracting intermediaries on behalf of local physicians.  We have significant experience counseling physician-owned entities in legal issues that arise in the course of day-to-day operations and in assisting with transactions throughout the lifecycle of the entity, including formation, day-to-day operational issues, and acquisitions.  We are frequently called upon to assist with business crises and in the unfortunate event of business dissolutions.
